A few days ago, one of our clients called us and said "I heard that banks may be tightening the stress tests. What's going on?" He was stressed out because he's in the market looking for a home and thought this would impact him.
I told him that I'd talk to the lenders and get back to him. After speaking to the lender, we provided him with the information that there are no changes anticipated at this time with the stress tests.
So there might be lots of things that you might be hearing from different people. its very important for you to be well informed from the right sources. You should have a trusted network of a realtor, lender, inspector and lawyer.
