Back to back weeks where Surrey had 100 or more new listings come to the market for single family homes. New condo listings also jumped up 33% in Surrey and Langley this past week. In Cloverdale, the numbers were roughly the same.
Usually we get this influx of new listings earlier in the Spring, closer to March and April but nevertheless, seeing inventory levels rise is great news for buyers and sellers.
One stat that has consistently gone up in all of Surrey, Cloverdale and Langley is price! How much has it gone up and is it higher or lower than last year, stay tuned for our May 2023 housing market update this week where we talk about that in more detail.
