I hope everyone is enjoying their Canada Day long weekend! This past week in real estate was pretty interesting.
New listings entering the market were lower this week in comparison to the rest of June where we saw a high number of listings come to the market. Part of this is probably due to it being the last week of school. Talking to our clients and mortgage advisors, a lot of people’s eyes are on July 12 which is when the next Bank of Canada announcement is to see what happens with the rates.
On the sales side of the things, it has been really busy. There has been over 1,800 sales this month which is 300 more than May and over 700 more sales this month than last year June! It has been a very busy time working with buyers!
